Sanuki Cuisine Amiya

Seafood at its finest

Sanuki Cuisine Amiya is a beloved izakaya known for its fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, local Olive Beef, and sake brewed in nearby breweries.
The owner, originally from Ibukijima—an island famous for iriko (dried sardines)—serves a variety of Sanuki dishes such as iriko kamameshi (rice pot), iriko ramen, sushi, and assorted sashimi platters made with local fish.

Every morning, the chef visits the market to personally select the freshest fish.
Thanks to its sister restaurant, Aohata Fish Shop, which holds tuna-cutting shows twice a month, guests can enjoy top-quality tuna from Kochi and Ehime, as well as seasonal fish from the Seto Inland Sea, including olive yellowtail, sea bream, flounder, and shellfish.

The lively dining space features table seating and a private room available for groups.

  • Signature dish: additive-free Iriko Ramen made with a natural broth
  • Handwritten messages cover every wall around the table seating
