Designated as one of Japan's Registered Tangible Cultural Properties, Kachoen is over 100 years old and was constructed entirely from hinoki cypress in the traditional Japanese architectural style. Originally built as a guesthouse for receiving visitors, the property also includes a separate bathhouse with a traditional Goemon bath.

The first floor contains three Japanese-style rooms, a kitchen, and a meeting room, while the second floor has two Japanese-style rooms and a lounge.

The spacious grounds offer a variety of memorable experiences, including playing in the pool, barbecuing, chopping firewood, and heating the Goemon bath with the wood you have chopped yourself.

This illustrious residence has even played host to some of Japan's senior government officials. Experience the atmosphere of stepping back in time during your stay at this historic residence.
