MAWARU

Taste the best of three local regions at this creative Japanese restaurant!

Opened on June 1, 2024, in Nio, Mitoyo — home of Chichibugahama Beach—MAWARU welcomes guests with a stylish wa-modern atmosphere inside a renovated traditional house. Step through the noren curtain and you’ll find a warm, inviting space that instantly puts you at ease.
This restaurant was born from the owner’s wish for visitors to enjoy touring and savoring the flavors of three areas: Mitoyo City, Miyoshi City, and Kotohira Town.
At lunch, you can try dishes such as the Iya venison roast rice bowl or a seafood bowl made with fresh fish from Shikoku. In the evening, enjoy beautifully prepared sashimi and a variety of seasonal dishes using plenty of local ingredients.
The menu showcases the rich bounty of Shikoku, paired perfectly with a well-curated selection of wine and local sake.

  • Lunch Menu: Grilled Seto Inland Sea Fish of the Day
  • Enjoy carefully crafted wines from a winery in Miyoshi, Tokushima Prefecture
