MOZAIK Store Ohama

MOZAIK — A Place Where Local People and Products Come Together

On the site of the former Ohama Elementary School, the entrance floor of the gymnasium has been renovated to create the long-awaited local direct sales store inside the Ohama Sweets Academy.

Named MOZAIK to reflect the idea of “bringing together various products and people of the community into one place,” this shop offers a vibrant mix of local flavors and connections.

The shelves are lined with items perfect for everyday life, including daily lunch boxes and side dishes delivered from Mitoyo and nearby towns, and special “Gochisou Musubi” rice balls made with salt from Chichibugahama. Freshly baked bread, frozen foods, Ohama’s house-made cream puffs, and even the popular online hit, croissant taiyaki, can also be found here.

One of the highlights is the irresistible broken chocolate sold by weight—choose as much as you like from a variety of flavors, try different kinds, and discover your favorite.

Inside, the nostalgic atmosphere remains, with school-era lockers and desks repurposed for use. One wall serves as a lively canvas covered with colorful drawings. An eat-in space is also available, where you can relax on a sofa and enjoy your purchases at your own pace.
