Custom Patisserie Petit Cadeau

A small but high-quality bakery in the historical port town of Nio.

After 10 years spent learning the art of baking in Osaka, the owner of Petit Cadeau returned to her hometown of Nio to open her own shop. The name is a play on words, using the French phrase for "a small gift" and rendering it as Puchika-do, an easier name for native Japanese speakers to remember and say.
As the phrase "custom patisserie" implies, various pastries can be made to order: cakes decorated with marzipan, doll cakes, marzipan wedding cakes, fruit-topped cakes, decoratively iced sugar cookies, and more. Each custom cake begins baking only after hearing exactly what the customer wants.
Orders are not required; aside from custom cakes they also sell cheesecakes, shortcake, custard, and more.
Their cream puffs are filled-to-order, meaning that the pastry won't become soggy and retains a slight crispiness.
