For over 100 years Shimizu Confectionery has been filled with the sweet scent of baked goods and happy customers. Everything from cakes to mochi to cookies can be found neatly lined up on their displays.
A unique three-cheese blend combines with fresh Hokkaido cream in their Shiawase Cheese cheesecakes. These bite-size bits are rich and flavorful with the melt-in-your-mouth creaminess that marks a really good cheesecake. Shiawase is Japanese for "happiness" and the bakers are sure that a mouthful is all you'll need to become shiawase yourself.
You can also get a taste of local Takase green tea in their Cha-ra-rins: a cake-y baked good that combines Western and Eastern baking styles for a delicious and fluffy result.
