School Strawberry Farm Saita Kami

Fun to pick, sweet to eat! Celebrate Spring with fresh-picked strawberries

Since September, 2016, the grounds of this unused elementary school have welcomed an entirely different type of visitors: strawberry lovers!
No sore knees or aching back for visitors here! The fruit is grown on tables, allowing for easy picking.
Try Kagawa's homegrown strawberry variety: the Sanuki Hime. The staff will help show you how to pick the fruit without damaging the plants and provide tips on how to identify the sweetest and ripest strawberries.
Of course, for those who want a quicker fix, homemade strawberry jam and ice cream is also available for sale.
