Handmade Udon Mori

Udon with heart and strength

Dedicated to preserving the traditions of Sanuki Udon, this udon restaurant makes every noodle entirely by hand—kneading, rolling, and cutting with care. Its pride and specialty is “firm-texture udon” (tsuyome no udon) with a satisfyingly strong bite.

A standout dish is the Bukkake Udon topped with a whole deep-fried anago (conger eel)—hearty and impressive. The menu is extensive, from classic bukkake to creative seasonal bowls and monthly limited specials, so you’ll be satisfied whenever you visit.

The handmade noodles offer the ideal trio of silky smoothness, elasticity, and firmness, yielding glossy, resilient strands. When they meet the rich iriko (dried sardine) broth, the flavor truly shines—an unforgettable taste of Sanuki tradition.
