Zentsuji Temple is temple number 75 in the 88-Temple Shikoku Pilgrimage and renowned as the birthplace of Kobo Daishi, one of the most important figures in Japanese Buddhism. And now, you can enjoy delicious Buddhist cuisine there featuring seasonal local ingredients.
Their Daishi Barley Manju is made from locally-grown barley and is perfectly chewy and rich in dietary fiber. Each dish is carefully arranged with fresh, vibrant ingredients for a vegetarian meal that's as beautiful as it is delicious.
Gaze over the temple grounds from the first floor of Iroha Hall while having your fill of a meal that will beautify your mind and body.
