Mt. Shiude (Shiudeyama) Road Closed Beginning April 11, 2024
The road up Mt. Shiude has been closed due to a recent rockslide which occurred on March 26th, 2024. Emergency repairs to the road have been completed, and the mountain will temporarily reopen from March 30th to April 10th*.
However, the local Department of Transportation has determined that it will be necessary to close the road again for further repairs after Sakura Season ends, beginning Thursday, April 11th (end date TBD).
Hiking Routes up the mountain will also be closed.
The closure includes hiking access via the Shikoku-no-michi Nature Trail.
As there is no way up the mountain outside of car and hiking routes, the mountain is functionally closed to all visitors for the duration.

4月11日（木）～車道・四国のみち全面通行止め
2024年3月26日（火）に発生した落石現場の復旧工事のため、桜シーズン終了後の2024年4月11日（木）以降、本格的な復旧作業のため、終日通行止めを行います。（解除時期未定）
徒歩で登山も同様に通行止めです。
徒歩で登山される場合に利用する四国のみち（全ルート）も通行止めです。
車と徒歩以外に紫雲出山山頂へアクセスする方法はありません。

【紫雲出山】自2024年4月11日（四）起車道及四國之路步道全面禁止通行
紫雲出山因3/26落石事故，一度封閉交通進行緊急修復工程，並在櫻花季交通管制期間暫時恢復通行。櫻花季結束後，自2024年4月11日（四）起，管理單位再次全日全面封閉道路，進行落石區域的正式修復工程，以確保交通安全（解除日期尚未確定）。
請注意，目前登山道路包括車道及四國之路登山步道全面封閉，禁止駕車或徒步通行。
為避免發生意外，切勿以任何形式自行穿越封鎖線。
