Campaign Overview

One of Mitoyo City’s most iconic cherry blossom spots in Kagawa Prefecture, Mt. Shiude.
A breathtaking cherry blossom landscape highly praised by global media, including The New York Times.
During the cherry blossom season, the Mt. Shiude summit parking area operates on a reservation-only basis to help manage congestion.
If you are visiting by private vehicle (including rental cars, taxis, and motorcycles), advance reservation is required.

For this campaign, guests who book accommodation through the Mitoyo Tourism Official Booking Site are eligible for a special benefit: early and priority access to reserve personal vehicle entry tickets ahead of general sales. (General sales are scheduled to begin in early March 2026.)

Eligible Period

Sakura Season Period: March 27 – April 12, 2026 (A ticket is required for vehicle entry during this period, and all tickets must be reserved in advance.)
Eligible Stay Period: March 26 – April 12, 2026
Early & Priority Ticket Sales Period: January 21, 2026, 12:00 PM – March 25, 2026, 5:00 PM (Limited to 15 groups per day, with a maximum of 3 groups per time slot.)

Availability is limited, and not all guests will be able to make a reservation. However, this early and priority reservation gives you a better chance to book your preferred date ahead of general reservations.

Check-in Location: Ohama Fishing Port (2493 Ohama-ko, Takuma-cho, Mitoyo, Kagawa)

Each ticket allows one vehicle (under 6 meters in length) to park at the Mt. Shiude summit.

  • Fee (per vehicle, regardless of the number of passengers): Weekdays: ¥1,750 / Weekends & holidays: ¥2,300
  • Personal vehicle entry tickets cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded after purchase.
  • Changes or cancellations are not allowed due to cherry blossom conditions, weather, or any other circumstances.
  • Please carefully check the number of vehicles and the selected date and time before making your reservation.
  • You may proceed with your reservation even if vehicle details (such as the model or license plate number) are not yet known.

How to Apply・Steps

  • Make an accommodation reservation through the Mitoyo Tourism Official Booking Site
  • Click the URL for the “Mt. Shiude Sakura Season Personal Vehicle Entry Ticket” reservation page provided in your accommodation booking confirmation email
  • Select your preferred date on the reservation page and complete your booking and payment. (Registration for a Peatix account is required.)
  • If all early and priority reservation slots are sold out, general reservations will open in March. Please proceed with a standard reservation at that time.

*Please note that reservations made through travel booking sites or individual accommodation websites are not eligible for this campaign.
